Historic Downtown Lewisburg continues its tradition of First Fridays after Five. Kick off the summer with outdoor & indoor live music, artist receptions, fun and refreshments! First Friday after Five will take placefrom 5pm to 9pm on Friday, May 1st. This event is free to the public. Everyone is welcome!
Back by popular demand, Evolver will perform outdoors in Downtown Lewisburg’s Green Space at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Washington Street. Birch Graves provides soulful sounds on saxophone and flute, while the White Sulphur rhythm section of Matthew Patterson and Joshua Adamo lay down luscious grooves on bass and delicious beats on drums. Inspired by a multitude of musical styles (world, jazz, electronica and funk), Evolver successfully fuses these styles with their own improvisational personalities.
Join Show Your Colors for their Grand Re-Opening Celebration at 105 N. Court Street, right next door to their old location. Don’t miss their Tailgate Party with refreshments, fun and specials. 645-0008.

Carnegie Hall kicks off two exhibits on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm: The Greenbrier’s Artists 25th Annual Exhibit, “Art Journeys” in the Old Stone Room and Chuck Woelfel’s “Paintings and Drawings: Inspired by His Spiritual Natural World” in the Museum Gallery. 105 Church Street, 645-7917.
