The River Campground In West Virginia Where You’ll Have An Unforgettable Tubing Adventure

The arrival of summer in The Mountain State brings with it a bevy of ways to enjoy the great outdoors in Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia. From a whole host of day trip possibilities to scenic drives and more, if you’re in West Virginia, you’re only a moment away from your next summer adventure.

And what better way to run away for the day than by hopping in an inner tube for a lazy coast down the Greenbrier River?

We always say a day on the water is a day well spent!
You may also love the fact that a picturesque campground located right on the river will take care of all of the details of a tubing adventure you won’t soon forget.

If you’ve rafted down a West Virginia river, yet never floated lazily down one on your own inner tube, then you’re in for an unforgettable day of loafing in the sun.

Spend the night in one of the many campsites and then catch the campground’s shuttle to the launch spot up the river.

The shuttle from the campground is included with each tube rental, as is the return shuttle from the end point of the journey.

A day on the water is fun for the entire family! And with this river trip, all you’ll need to bring is sunscreen and drinks!

Special floating coolers are also available for rent, and are perfect for keeping those beverages cool!

The lazy float down the Greenbrier is usually at a comfortable speed of one-mile per hour. You can devote the entire trip to kicking back and relaxing in the summer sun. Depending on the day and the water levels, there may be a few mini-rapids that’ll raise the bar for a few moments!

Definitely bring a waterproof bag if you want to bring your phone or a camera!
